Andrew McMillan was born in Barnsley in 1988 and studied at Lancaster University. He has published three poetry collections, Physical (winner of the 2015 Guardian First Book Award), Playtime (winner of the first Polari Prize) and Pandemonium. He is also the co-editor of the acclaimed anthology 100 Queer Poems.
