About the Author

Katherine Woodfine is the author of the Sinclair’s Mysteries and Taylor & Rose Secret Agents series, beginning with The Clockwork Sparrow, which was a Sunday Times bestseller and nominated for numerous awards. As well as retelling Anne of Green Gables, she has adapted Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice for younger readers, and is currently working on a children’s adaptation of The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins. Born and raised in Lancashire, she now lives in Lancaster.

 

About the Illustrator

Isabelle Follath is a freelance illustrator living in Zurich, Switzerland, where she creates pictures for books and many other things. She loves drawing all sorts of characters, mixing colours and drinking an alarming amount of coffee. When she is not illustrating you can find her searching for the perfect vintage nib or trying rearrange her watercolours of which she has far too many.
