Every snowflake is lonely
Never sure of its destination,
its ability to land.
It fears of turning to rain before it hits the ground,
the whispers of successful snowflakes
Grounded.
Snug under a blanket of smug serenity.
The descending snowflake takes the leap
Wishing to be part of them –
But fears their temporary cheers
hide frozen jealousies,
so, it withdraws – solemnifies.
Never knowing that each snowflake has those fears,
Or how they dance the same dance.
