For many years Lancaster has inspired writers to pick up pen and write down observation in poetry & prose. This guided tour takes visitors around the historic city, highlighting locations of literary significance and bringing them to life with a number of short readings. Contributions range from the quill of 16th Century bargemen, singing the praises of local hospitality, to the laptops of 21st Century crime writers, casting sinister shadows over the streets of the city!

Spaces are limited, so pre-booking is recommended, any remaining places will be available to book on the day at the start of the tour.
