Children’s Festival — Make a Mouse! with Jake Hope & Genevieve Aspinall
Don’t feel cheesed off! This spring, join children’s author Jake Hope and exciting new illustrator Genevieve Aspinall for a crafty and creative make a mouse session.
You will get to hear the cheeky story of the many mischievous mice in Cheesed Off! and will get to make your own mouse that you can use as a character to create your own whisker-twitchingly good stories.
Genevieve Aspinall graduated with a first-class honours degree in Illustration from UCLan in 2021. She has had work displayed at the Royal Society of British Artists exhibition in London and loves making stories come to life with playful and charming illustrations.
Jake Hope is widely respected across all sectors of the children’s book world. A reading development and children’s book consultant, Jake is past-chair of the Youth Libraries Group, and currently Chair of the Working Party for the prestigious CILIP Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Medal.
