The Litfest Big Read: Joseph Coehlo — The Girl Who Became a Tree

An innovative novel created from individual poems, The Girl Who Became a Tree is a creative reimagining of the myth of Daphne and Apollo. Part legend and part modern day, Daphne’s story is layered, thought-provoking and a great conversation starter. We would love to know your views.

“Heart-breaking, powerful, totally involving…a tour de force…full of energy and a rich palette of language” -Tricia Adams, Love Reading
