Philip Burton has a love for readings and performance, developed through life as an English and Drama teacher, Lancashire head teacher, folksinger, amateur actor, a multi-award winning poet, and as a poetry practitioner who, as Pip The Poet, has provided hundreds of poetry days for schools and for adult learners. His poems are widely published. He won the Teignmouth festival poetry competition, 2015, judged by Penelope Shuttle. His collection titled His Usual Theft, published by Indigo Dreams will be available in May 2017.
Gill Lambert is a poet and teacher from Yorkshire. She has been published in The Interpreter’s House , by Indigo Dreams, Beautiful Dragons, Paper Swans Press and Otley Word Feast Press; and on-line by The Fat Damsel, Clear Poetry, and Poetry Space. She won the 2016 Ilkley Literature Festival Open Mic competition, runs the “Shaken in Sheeptown” event in Skipton, and her first solo pamphlet will be published by Indigo Dreams later in 2017.
